Tracy (Ngāti Kearoa Ngāti Tuarā – Te Arawa, and Ngāti Ruanui) brings over 20 years of experience as a Registered Nurse, with a decade spent as a senior nurse lecturer at Te Puna Whaiora – Department of Nursing, Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology. Tracy currently works at Whitireia Weltec as a senior nurse lecturer in the Bachelor of Nursing Pacific Programme and the Graduate Diploma Nursing Pacific Programme.
Tracy has held a range of leadership and governance roles, including as a former member of Te Kōmiti Kawa Whakaruruhau – Toi Ohomai, Wharangi Ruamano (a collective of Māori nursing and midwifery educators and researchers), a trustee of Te Rūnanga o Ngāti Kearoa Ngāti Tuarā, and a current hapū representative on Te Kōmiti o Kearoa marae and Te Tira Haere a Puhāorangi. She has cultivated strong, enduring relationships with whānau, hapū, iwi and the wider Te Arawa community, and maintains extensive networks across Māori nursing education.
Her expertise lies in embedding Mātauranga Māori and Te Tiriti o Waitangi within nursing and health education. In 2023, Tracy contributed to a national specialty working group of Māori nurse educators, advising on the development of the unified nursing curriculum for Te Pūkenga.
Tracy holds a Master of Applied Professional Studies (Vulnerable Populations-endorsement Māori) from Toi Ohomai Institute of Technology, and a Bachelor of Nursing from Waiariki Institute of Technology.
André Narbey

André is of French, English, Scottish, and Irish descent. In 2012, he completed a Diploma in Small Business Management through Te Wānanga o Aotearoa. André has a strong interest in music and has dedicated significant time to supporting community groups in promoting local rangatahi musical talent. With experience in event management André has strong organisational and planning abilities, excellent communication, problem-solving, and leadership skills.
